WHAT IS HAPPENING IN PERAK????

Let me brief you a little bit about what is happening in Perak. Politics in Perak is under the limelight since the past few days. It started with Umno’s Bota assemblyman Datuk Nasarudin Hashim crossed over to PKR last week. Since the crossing over, PKR and Umno have been involved in a psychological war, with both accusing each other of trying to pinch their assemblymen. This is what The Star reported. The media also reported that Jamaluddin and Mohd Osman have not been seen in public since Nasarudin crossed over to PKR last Sunday. Speculation had been rife in Perak that the duos were going to resign from PKR.

So, for the past few days, I have been login into the internet almost 24/7 to keep myself updated. I just finish reading the online news.

From Malaysiakini

Perak speaker: Duo have resigned
BREAKING NEWS! updated 10.48pm Perak state assembly speaker V Sivakumar had received the letters of resignation from the two PKR state representatives at about 5.45pm today.

From Utusan Malaysia Online

Dua ADUN PKR nafi letak jawatan
KUALA LUMPUR 1 Feb. - Dua Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Perak daripada Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) malam ini menafikan meletakkan jawatan mereka, sepertimana yang diumumkan petang tadi.

From Berita Harian Online

Bapa mungkin jadi wakil rakyat Bebas

As you can see, there are various stories. Which one is the correct one? I don’t know. Let just wait and see. If the duos happen to resign, it will pave the way for another by-election in the two constituencies. The question is: Is UMNO / BN is ready for another by-election?

To be honest, I am tired of this. Why can all parties involve stop all these nonsense and do your work! Maybe, why don’t we dissolve the parliament and have another general election. Let the people decide once again. But make sure, it is after next week. Hehehe. I am going to register myself as a voter next week! Can’t wait!
